Lis is a creative photographer based in Wiltshire, although she's happy to work just about anywhere! Before discovering a passion for taking pictures of people and becoming a professional photographer, Lis trained and worked as a musician and educator - both good training for thinking on the hoof and getting the best out of all kinds of situations.
Lis's twin passions are people and photography - she loves to capture memories and emotions, and her images aim to capture the essence of the event, whether she's photographing a wedding, taking pictures of a family group, a party or an individual. Lis offers wedding photography, baby photography as well as formal and informal portrait photography, and she also works with corporate and arts organisations to create images that reflect their values and ethos. Her work has been published in magazines, on websites, published in books and has been used in adverts around the world.
Portraits
Lis offers a really personal service. For portraits, she is equally happy to work at your home or on location. She will talk to you about what to wear, and the type of portrait you'd like.
When she photographs babies, she usually does this in a place the baby feels comfortable - often their own home where they are surrounded by familiar sights, sounds and smells. Lis can either use natural light for the shoot, or she has special photographic lights she can bring along with her.
There are several different packages available, particularly for the babies first year. Also, Lis has a special 'promise' that if a baby or toddler for some reason doesn't feel happy on the day of the shoot, she will re-book the session at no extra cost - she understands that you can't make babies smile to order!
Weddings
Lis loves to photograph weddings - she loves the romance and emotion of the occasion and feels honoured to be involved in someone's special day.
The chemistry between you and your wedding photographer is important, and you need to feel comfortable together. Ideally, Lis likes to meet up beforehand to talk to you in person about your big day, to make sure that she knows exactly what you are looking for and so that on the day she captures the important people that you need her to photograph. For years to come you will have beautiful photographs that tell the story of your day, images that capture not only the people but the small details too that you've have put your time and energy into to create your perfect celebration.
Corporate
The people in your business are your business, so quality images will help to tell the story of your company and also show it's uniqueness. Lis' understanding of people helps her to capture the essence of your company and the passion of your people through her images.
